SWIM Tide Development

• Economic Development. In order for economic development to start, generational poverty must be addressed and attacked. SWIMTIDE develops tailored, multi-year plans aimed at building resilient, equitable, and diversified local economies. Our plans include economic analysis, clear goals for job creation, infrastructure improvement and plan implementation.  

• Workforce Development. Training in the trades is the hallmark of workforce development. Our trainings are plumbing, electrical, general construction, hvac and refrigeration, and small engine repair. This assists with lowering recidivism levels in the penal system and addresses generational incarceration.

• Therapeutic Accessibility. Fishing tours, Party tours around beautiful, historic Clearlake, horse therapy, sound therapy, spa services, golfing excursions, and community music events and sports leagues. This addresses generational substance abuse and trauma.

• Youth Development.  Experiential Education is the hallmark of youth development. We focus on S.T.E.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) which often merges these principles into one cohesive lesson or project focusing on the experience as a basis of retaining these tenets for long-term learning.  Activities include music, sports, boat-making, archery, entrepreneurship and other leadership modalities. This addresses generational trauma by providing youth with a safe, therapeutic learning environment, typically during after-school hours when youth typically get into trouble.

• Films. Focus is on the cinematic beauty of Lake County. The TIDE will produce romantic, action, thrillers, and comedy films.
